Most of us, at times, let small things disturb us. It is acceptance of what life presents which frees us from this limited way of thinking. We can easily fall into the trap of being disturbed over small matters. However, if we work on the discipline of seeing the bigger picture: Being upset, worried or outraged does not bring peace, satisfaction, personal growth or happiness. We are much better off realizing there are few things in life worth stoking up negative, unproductive reactions which tend to fuel more negatives, not only in us, but, in others as well. Think of the many things in life that benefit greatly by using healthy boundaries, not taking things personally, thinking creatively to solve problems instead of reacting impulsively, and; having respect for self and others.
Using our positive attributes in our day to day life, while engaging in self-care and self-love, goes a long way to being the beautiful person you really are. What can be worth throwing this treasure away? I can think of nothing, can you?
